The United Nations Sustainable Development Summit, held during the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly, will be the culmination of years of research and negotiation on the post-2015 development agenda, a bold vision for achieving sustainable development for all.
More than 150 world leaders are expected to attend the Summit to formally adopt the Sustainable Development Goals, a set of 17 goals aiming to achieve three key things: Ending extreme poverty; fighting inequality and injustice; and fixing climate change. The goals are designed to benefit all people, in all countries of the world.
