This side event, organized and hosted by UNFPA and will include panel explore how workforce policy decisions impact on maternal and newborn health programmes. Panelists will offer perspectives on what workforce scenario is best: a limited number of competent midwifery professionals versus a large number of multi-purpose workers.
They will also discuss:
