Monday’s topic will be Environment: Healthy Planet, Healthy People and 7 Billion Actions is partnering with UNEP, the UN Environment Programme to spark some conversation around this important issue.
With 7 billion people on the planet, the challenges of ensuring sustainable development and a fair share of the planet’s resources for a growing global population are clearer than ever. Whether it’s the impact of climate change on food security, or the growing energy needs of a larger, more urbanized global population- meeting the environmental challenges of the 21st Century is vital to achieving sustainable, economic development for 7 billion people.
How can we make better use of our resources in a world of 7 billion?
Is it investing in renewable energy? Using green technology? Or promoting eco-tourism?
