Leveraging the power of youth in evaluation: A practical guide to meaningfully engaging youth in evaluation processes

This resource provides guidance on meaningfully engaging young people in each phase of an evaluation. It promotes a deeper understanding of systematic, purposeful and meaningful youth engagement throughout the evaluation lifecycle and beyond. This guidance should be read together with the Evaluation Handbook. 

The guidance was developed collaboratively by young people, the EvalYouth Global Network and the IEO. The resource draws on IEO’s rich experience in engaging young people in the formative evaluation of UNFPA support to adolescents and youth.
